What this library covers
Flint & Flicker explores contemporary Pagan and occult practice with particular attention to Wiccan and eclectic approaches. Paganism is not one religion, and witchcraft is not synonymous with every Pagan path. We aim to name the setting of a practice rather than make every reader fit one system.
History, belief, and original practice
Historical background should point to a source. A museum object can tell us about its materials and documented provenance; it does not establish that every story told about it is true. Practitioner organizations can explain their own current observances, but one organization does not speak for all Pagans.
Rituals labeled original or modern adaptations were written for this site. They are not presented as recovered ancient rites, initiatory material, or the authorized ceremonies of another community. Spiritual interpretations are described as interpretations.
