What you'll need
A small piece of paper, a green or gold candle if available (a white candle works as a substitute for any color).
Words to speak
“I've named exactly what I want. I'm asking for the door, and I'm walking through it myself.”
Say them as written, or put them in your own words — sincerity matters more than exact phrasing.
How to do it
Write the specific opportunity on the paper — the job title, the client, the amount, whatever makes it concrete rather than vague. Light the candle, read the paper aloud once, then fold it toward you (folding inward is the traditional gesture for drawing something closer) and place it under the candle holder until the opportunity resolves one way or another, then burn or recycle it.
Safety
- Never leave a candle or flame unattended. Burn paper only in a fireproof dish, away from curtains, pets and children.
