How to do it
Light the candle beside your front door. Hold the stones and name what you want your home to support: safety, rest, privacy, kindness. Dip the rosemary into the water and lightly touch the doorframe (avoiding electrical fittings and surfaces water could damage), speaking the words above. Walk clockwise through your home carrying the bowl, and at four suitable places set down a stone, naming the boundary it represents. Return to the door and imagine those boundaries forming a steady enclosure around your home.
Afterward
Take one practical protective action — check a lock, replace a smoke-alarm battery, establish a household boundary. Revisit the stones monthly; when the arrangement no longer serves you, thank them, collect them, and clean and store them.
- Never leave a candle or flame unattended. Burn paper only in a fireproof dish, away from curtains, pets and children.
