Release an old attachment or pattern that no longer belongs at the center of your attention.

What you'll need
Two lengths of cotton string loosely tied together, a bowl of water, paper, a pen, and scissors.
Words to speak
“What happened remains part of my story. It need not direct my next step. I release this claim upon my attention.”
Say them as written, or put them in your own words — sincerity matters more than exact phrasing.
How to do it
Write the pattern you want to loosen — replaying an argument, seeking someone's approval, carrying an expectation that no longer fits. Hold one string as a symbol of yourself and the other as the pattern, name both aloud, and slowly untie the connection (cut the connecting knot carefully if it won't loosen). Speak the words, set the strings apart, then tear the paper and soak it in the bowl while breathing slowly.
Afterward
Choose one boundary or replacement habit and repeat it whenever the old pattern returns. Dispose of the soaked paper in household waste and empty the water normally; keep string and ritual materials indoors rather than releasing them outdoors.
- Spells support real-world action; they don't replace medical, legal, financial or safety help.
