What you'll need
A yellow or white candle, a favorite book or creative tool, a small stone, paper, and a pen.

How to do it
Set the tool beside the candle and hold the stone. Recall a time when creating felt absorbing or enjoyable, focusing on the activity itself. Write down what currently interrupts your work, fold that page away from you, and on a fresh page write one small thing you want to make. Speak the words, then spend fifteen uninterrupted minutes creating — resist correcting or evaluating during that period.
Afterward
Keep the stone near your workspace. Return for three more short sessions, then review what you made and choose what to develop.
- Never leave a candle or flame unattended. Burn paper only in a fireproof dish, away from curtains, pets and children.
