How to do it
Set a stone at each corner of a table (or four points around a small clear area) and lay the cord in the middle. Touch the first stone and name a quality you want to practice — calm — and tie the first knot; repeat at the other stones with patience, honest speech, and respect. Join the ends loosely to form a circle, leaving the four intention knots visible, and place the cord in the dish near where you read, rest, or talk with others. Speak the words, then sit quietly for a few breaths and decide what behavior will support this atmosphere.
Afterward
This working concerns your own conduct and boundaries — choose one household agreement or quiet-time habit. After a month, untie the cord and review the agreement, renewing it if useful.
