How to do it
Write one intention and set a realistic review date, dividing the work into three stages — preparation, effort, and completion — with one action for each. Working from one end of the cord to the other, tie nine simple overhand knots with spaces between them, pausing for a breath at each. Use knots one through three to name what you're preparing, four through six for the effort you'll bring, and seven through nine for how you'll recognize completion. Hold the finished cord, speak the verse, and place it with your written plan in the pouch.
Afterward
Handle the cord before each work session. On your review date, record what changed, and untie the knots slowly when you finish or intentionally end the project. Reuse the cord only after deciding on a fresh purpose.
